Title:
TRANSCRIPTION REGULATORY SEQUENCE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2004/111238
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
It is intended to construct a method of producing a useful protein with the use of the protein secretion system into urine by which purification, etc. can be easily performed and a high production efficiency and a favorable production cost can be achieved. Namely, a transcription regulatory sequence that comprises a nucleic acid molecule having a transcription regulatory activity acting in distal renal tubule cells in kidney (in particular such a transcription regulatory sequence originating in a feline aged 3 months or more belonging to Felis catus, Felinae such as a transcription regulatory sequence of cauxin gene); an expression vehicle or a transformed cell containing the above transcription regulatory sequence; and a method of expressing a foreign gene and producing a foreign protein using the same.
