Abstract:
The present invention relates to a transdermal drug administration device comprising: a housing; a battery; an injection system; a movable connection part for providing fluid connection between the injection system and a reservoir containing an active ingredient intended to be administered; a pump system connected to the movable connection part and to the injection system by virtue of flexible pipes so as to produce a fluid network, the pump system being motorised so as to cause a fluid to circulate within this network; and an electronic system for controlling the driving of the pump system, said electronic system being provided with a mechanical switch for powering the pump system with battery. The invention is characterised in that the movable connection part has at least one degree of freedom relative to the housing on one side and the reservoir on the other in order to allow a movement, the movable connection part jointly controlling the fluid supply of the pump and the power supply of the electronic system during said movement, at least part of the movement of the movable connection part being performed by a human mechanical action. The movable connection part comprises a means for fluid connection between the reservoir and the pump, providing disconnection at rest and fluid communication during said movement. The movable connection part comprises a means for activating the electrical power supply of the electrical and electronic components of the device, providing disconnection at rest and supplying power during said movement.
