Abstract:
A transducer 1 is provided with: a substrate 10 having a main surface 11 and a back surface 15 opposite to the main surface 11; a plurality of vibrating films 12 formed by a plurality of recesses 16 formed in the back surface 15 to allow the main surface 11 to vibrate in the thickness direction of the substrate 10, the plurality of vibrating films 12 being formed to a predetermined thickness from the main surface 11 of the substrate 10; and a plurality of drive layers 20 stacked on the plurality of vibrating films 12 such that a piezoelectric layer 22 is sandwiched by a pair of a lower electrode layer 21 and an upper electrode layer 23 on the main surface 11. The plurality of vibrating films 12 include vibrating films 12 arranged at predetermined intervals in at least two directions in the plane of the main surface 11, and generate sufficient sound volume for use as a speaker.
