Abstract:
Provided is a transfer apparatus which transfers a component assembly in order to a plurality of assembly regions at the time of assembling the component assembly which includes a first component, a second component and a third component between the first component and the second component. The transfer apparatus includes a placing table (20) which includes a plurality of placing sections (21) arranged in a transfer direction (L) so as to place the first component and the second component in the assembly regions, respectively; and transfer units (30, 40), which hold the first component from a lower side to bring up the component assembly above the placing sections (21) of the placing table and transfer the component assembly in order to the placing sections (21) by reciprocal motion. Thus, the component assembly is highly accurately and efficiently transferred, while saving equipment space, simplifying steps in the assembly process and preventing the component assembly from being scratched and damaged.
