Abstract:
A transfer apparatus comprises: a transfer management table storage unit 26 for storing a transfer management table indicating a port that is a transfer destination of frames received from another transfer apparatus that transmits received frames without copying those frames having low significance, and that transmits, to a redundant path, the received frames while copying significant frames that are the frames having higher significance than the low significance frames; an adjacent information table storage unit 291 for storing an adjacent information table indicating information of devices connected to the port; and a transfer destination management unit 24 for controlling, by use of the transfer management table and adjacent information table, whether to transfer the significant frames received from the other transfer apparatus.
