Abstract:
A transfer board which transfers columnar primary compression moldings, that
may have two swelling bases and being supplied continuously one by one by its own
weight because they are concatenated vertically in a shooter, into the mortar
of a secondary compression tablet press, e.g. a rotary compression tablet press,
with their columnar direction kept substantially horizontal, and which comprises
an inclining portion having a planar inclining surface, a charging section contiguous
thereto, a section for limiting fall of primary compression moldings, and a bottom
plate provided at the lower portion of the charging section. The inclining surface
is inclining downward toward the charging section, the inclining portion and
the charging section contiguous thereto perform horizontal linear motion or
rotary motion at a constant speed in the direction opposite to the charging section,
and the charging section and the bottom plate can supply primary compression
moldings into the mortar of the secondary compression tablet press while keeping
the columnar direction substantially horizontally. With such a transfer board,
secondary compression is performed on primary compression moldings forming
a layer in the columnar direction from a direction different from that of the primary
compression, and thereby primary compression moldings being dropped and supplied
with their columnar direction kept substantially vertical can be transferred,
after their direction is changed, into the mortar of the secondary compression
tablet press with their columnar direction kept substantially horizontal and
in a specified direction.
