Abstract:
A transfer feeder enables selection between a finger transfer system, in which a work (2) is clamped by jaws (3) to be transferred, and a vacuum transfer system, in which the work is sucked by work suction means to be transferred. In the transfer feeder, provided in opposite positions to a pair of transfer bars (1) extending in a work transfer direction to be juxtaposed to each other are work suction means (29), evacuation means (30) active at the time of finger transfer to freely evacuate the work suction means to positions where the work suction means does not interfere with the work, jaws, evacuation means (14) active at the time of vacuum transfer to freely evacuate the jaws to positions where the jaws do not interfere with the work.
