Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to allow fabric or the like to be transferred by being stably held while being tensioned from the rear surface thereof. A printer device is provided with a print medium guiding portion, a printing portion, a print medium transfer driving portion, a print medium feeding portion, and a print medium discharging portion, and performs printing by jetting ink from a print head of the printing portion onto a print medium fed on the print medium guiding portion. A discharge side guiding roller is disposed on the print medium discharging portion, an engaging surface that engages with the print medium is provided on the circumferential surface of the discharge side guiding roller and the discharge side guiding roller holds the print medium in a manner so that the rear surface of the print medium does not slide. A torque limiter is connected to a supporting shaft of the discharge side guiding roller, and the print medium is transferred while using the torque limiter to maintain the tension of the print medium at a predetermined value.
