Abstract:

Transfer paper for decorating pottery comprising a base paper, a decorating ink layer, and a cover coat layer, wherein a binder of the decorating ink layer and/or the cover coat layer comprises (I) a polymer and/or copolymer of a compound represented by the general formula (A), (II) a photopolymerizable compound represented by the general formula (B), (III) a photopolymerizable compound having a polymerizable double bond other than (B), and (IV) a photopolymerization initiator. In the formula (A), R1 represents hydrogen or methyl, R2 represents hydrogen or alkyl containing 1 to 20 carbon atoms, cycloalkyl, aralkyl or aryl. In the formula (B), X represents hydrogen or methyl, m represents a positive integer of 1 to 3, and n represents an addition mol number of 4 <= n <= 100.
