Abstract:
When an abnormality occurs in a servo driving system in a feeder unit, a transfer press is operated without losing the synchronous operation of a press unit and the feeder unit, or stopped safely. The feeder unit is driven by a plurality of individually controllable servomotors 121, 122, ..., 12n, and the transmission of a driving force to at least one servomotor is interrupted by a magnet contactor in accordance with a required instruction signal representative of the occurrence of abnormality in a driver, whereby the servomotor is put in a free mode.
