Abstract:
The aim of the present invention is to solve the above problem, and to provide a transfer system thermal displacement compensating device and compensating method for machine tools, capable of obtaining rapid transfer time densities by computing a rapid transfer time in terms of the proportion of the time used for rapid transfer per unit time, the rapid transfer time being used for exchanging tools or selecting the position of the tools as a working point; capable of being applied to a variety of workpieces and machine tools by comparing a current compensation value with a maximum value, which is calculated on the basis of an average value of the computed rapid transfer time densities, thereby compensating the transfer system according to the thermal displacement thereof; capable of promptly compensating thermal displacement in the transfer system according to the movement of the transfer system; and capable of reducing manufacturing costs.
