Abstract:
The present application provides and discloses a transform method, an inverse transform method, a video encoder, and a video decoder. The inverse transform method comprises: parsing a code stream to obtain residual data of a current block to be decoded, target partition mode-indicating information, and target transform mode-indicating information; if a target transform mode is a first transform mode or a second transform mode, performing an inverse transform on the residual data of the current block according to the target transform mode, and obtaining an inverse transform coefficient of the current block; if the target transform mode is a third transform mode or a fourth transform mode, partitioning the current block according to a target partition mode corresponding to the target partition mode-indicating information, and obtaining multiple sub-blocks to be decoded; and performing an inverse transform on residual data of the the multiple sub-blocks according to the target transform mode, and obtaining an inverse transform coefficient of the current block. The present application improves transform/inverse transform performance.
