Abstract:
Provided is a transformer comprising a tank (15) mounted below the floor (3) of a vehicle and containing not only an iron core and a coil but also an insulating liquid (16), thereby dipping the iron core and the coil in the insulating liquid, and a cooling unit for air-cooling the insulating liquid having flowed from the tank (15) and for returning the cooled liquid to the tank (15). The cooling unit includes a plurality of pipelines (2) arranged spaced from each other such that the spacing in a region relatively closer to the vehicle floor (3) is made larger than the spacing in a region relatively farther from the vehicle floor (3).
