Abstract:

Provided is a transformer, which is a distributed constant transformer provided between an AC power source having a frequency (f) and a load having a resistance (R), comprising, with a wavelength of λ for the frequency (f): a first transformer connected to the AC power source and having a length of λ/4; and a second transformer provided between the end of the first transformer and the load and having a length of λ/4. Such a transformer is small and lightweight, and does not need a coil, a core, or the like as in a conventional transformer.
