Abstract:
This transformer comprises inside a tank (40) filled with an insulating medium, an iron core having a main limb, side limbs and yokes, and a wound wire (5) which is wound peripherally to the main limb of the iron core. This transformer characterized by: the main limb of the iron core comprising a primary winding iron core (1) that is square in cross section and obtained by winding an amorphous magnetic thin ribbon, and a secondary winding iron core (2) at each of the four sides thereof, comprising silicon steel sheets which have been laminated to have a curvature; and the portion of the main limb where the wound wire (5) is disposed being approximately circular in cross section.
