Abstract:
A TIA circuit according to the invention generates a reset signal by itself. According to an embodiment of the invention, a transimpedance amplifier for converting a current signal to a voltage signal is characterized by comprising: a transimpedance stage; a gain control circuit that compares an output from the transimpedance stage with a reference voltage to output a gain control voltage; and a reset signal output circuit that outputs a reset signal having a predetermined pulse width at the timing of at least one of a rise and a fall of the gain control voltage.
