Abstract:

A device and a method for: acquiring transport service plan information relating to operating plans and operating status of transit means operated by public transit agencies in a region subject to forecast, travel demand forecast information relating to travel demand among points in the region subject to forecast, transit means congestion information relating to congestion of the transit means, and traffic jam information relating to a traffic jam situation for travel by road in the region subject to forecast; creating a route model between two of the points in the region subject to forecast, said model using both public transit and travel by road; extracting a travel route from a departure point to a destination point based on the route model between the departure point and destination point for a travel demand included in the travel demand forecast information; computing a utility value for each travel route on the basis of an evaluation index including the transit means congestion information and traffic jam information for the travel route; and on the basis of the utility value, allocating to each travel route an allocated traveler number, and aggregating and outputting thereof for each public transit agency.
