Abstract:
In a transit range evaluation device according to the present application, an acquisition unit acquires vehicle identification information for identifying a vehicle from an identification information reading device installed in individual detection areas of a main road to be measured, said areas being divided at connection points for connecting the main road and branch roads. The vehicle identification information, the point in time at which the vehicle identification information was detected, and the detection area in which the detection was performed are correlated in detection information, which is recorded in a detection information storage unit. A range specification unit specifies the travel range on a main road in which a vehicle indicated by the vehicle identification information travelled, on the basis of the detection information recorded in the detection information storage unit.
