According to the invention there is provided a transition arrangement (10) for an aircraft for aiding stabilization of an aircraft between substantially vertical and horizontal flight of the aircraft, the transition arrangement (10) including an aerofoil (12) and mounting means for mounting the aerofoil rotatable between a leading (18) and / or a trailing edge (20) of an aircraft wing.
