Abstract:
The present invention relates to a transition metal compound, a transition metal catalyst composition for olefin polymerization comprising the same, and a method for producing an olefin-based polymer by using the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to: a group 4 transition metal compound which is useful as an olefin polymerization catalyst and is characterized by an ansa-metallocene structure comprising a cyclopentadiene derivative ligand and an indenyl derivative ligand, in which aryl is necessarily substituted at the 4-position, which are connected to each other by a bridge group of silicon or alkenylene; a transition metal catalyst composition for olefin polymerization comprising the same as a main catalyst, and an aluminum compound, a boron compound or a mixture thereof as a co-catalyst; and a method for producing an olefin-based polymer by using the same.
