Abstract:
Disclosed are a transition node for circular and square tubes and a 3D modeling method thereof. The method comprises: establishing a planar rectangular coordinate system, drawing an inner circle and an outer circle with centers thereof at the origin and the two circles forming a circular ring, drawing a square interface in the coordinate system, drawing a reference regular octagon in the bottom circle, and placing four vertices of the regular octagon on the coordinate axes, connecting a point where the inner circle intersects the axis of the rectangular coordinate system to a vertex of the inner square to form a connecting line; moving out the bottom circle and the connecting line, and drawing an inclined cylinder in the same coordinate system with the circular ring at the bottom as a cross-section thereof and the connecting line as a generatrix; using the cross-section as a cutting plane of the cylinder to obtain a curved surface having a bottom edge of one-eighth of the circle; moving the curved surface to the equivalent position on the bottom circle, and obtaining another curved surface using the same method to form one planar isosceles triangular plate and two inclined curved plates, and finally forming a transition node for circular and square tubes. The structure produced by the method is uniformly stressed and has a reliable force transfer, good connection bearing, and reduced stress concentration.
