Abstract:
A transliteration processing device as in one embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a character string acquisition unit which acquires a first alphabetical character string in which a first word written in a first language having a prescribed character system is expressed by an alphabetical notation, and a second alphabetical character string in which a second word written in a second language having a character system that differs from that of the first language is expressed by an alphabetical notation; a determination unit which executes a determination of whether a first consonant element included in the first alphabetical character string and a second consonant element included in the second alphabetical character string are in a predetermined correspondence relationship, and on the basis of the determination result, determines whether the first word and the second word are in a transliteration relationship; and an output unit which outputs, as a pair, the first word and the second word which were determined by the determination unit to be in a transliteration relationship.
