Abstract:
Disclosed is a translucent reflective film or reflective film for optical recording media, which is composed of a silver alloy having a composition consisting of 0.001-0.1% by mass of Ca, 0.05-1% by mass of Mg, and the balance of Ag and unavoidable impurities. Also disclosed is a target composed of a silver alloy having a composition consisting of 0.001-0.1% by mass of Ca, 0.05-1% by mass of Mg, and the balance of Ag and unavoidable impurities. Further disclosed is a translucent reflective film for optical recording media, which is composed of a silver alloy having a composition consisting of 0.05-1% by mass of Mg, 0.05-1% by mass in total of one or more elements selected from Eu, Pr, Ce and Sm, and the balance of Ag and unavoidable impurities. Still further disclosed is an Ag alloy sputtering target for forming a translucent reflective film for optical recording media, which sputtering target is composed of a silver alloy having a composition consisting of 0.05-1% by mass of Mg, 0.05-1% by mass in total of one or more elements selected from Eu, Pr, Ce and Sm, and the balance of Ag and unavoidable impurities.
