Abstract:
In a transmission belt manufacturing method, a cylindrical molding (36), in which multiple protruding strips (11a') that are laid on a mandrel (31) are provided consecutively in the axial direction, is disposed on the inside of a cylindrical belt mold (422) in which multiple compressed layer-forming grooves (422a) are provided consecutively in the axial direction. With the formed compressed layer sections (11a'), which are configured by comprising one of the multiple protruding strips (11a') of the molding (36), fitted into the corresponding compressed layer-forming grooves (422a) of the belt mold (422), a cylindrical belt slab is molded by heating and pressing the molding (36) toward the mandrel (31) to cross-link same.
