Abstract:
Provided is a transmission coil that is capable of suppressing a reduction in transmission efficiency during underwater noncontact power transmission. This transmission coil is for transmitting power in water and has: an annular electric wire through which AC current flows; and a first cover that includes a nonconductive resin or a nonmagnetic resin and seals the surrounding of the electric wire. Through the electric wire, power is transmitted via a magnetic field generated through the flowing of the AC current.
