Abstract:
A transmission control device for a continuously variable transmission, provided with a transmission unit (1) for continuously varying a transmission ratio by varying the widths of belt-winding grooves (11, 12) in pulleys (2, 3) over which a belt (4) is wound, and a forward/reverse switching unit (30) for switching the direction of rotation of an output shaft (31) for outputting torque to drive wheels (33) to a forward direction and a reverse direction, wherein the transmission control device is also provided with an actuator (34) for generating operating force for varying the transmission ratio and operating force for switching the forward/reverse switching unit (30), and a motive power transfer switching mechanism (35) for selectively linking the actuator (34) to the transmission unit (1) and the forward/reverse switching unit (30).
