Abstract:
Provided in the present invention are a TCP acceleration method, apparatus and system. The method comprises: a first network device receiving a TCP layer packet and mapping same to an MAC layer packet; the first network device sending the MAC layer message to a second network device, and receiving an MAC layer confirmation character ACK packet sent by the second network device; the first network device mapping the MAC layer ACK message to the first TCP layer ACK packet and sending same to the TCP server. A TCP acceleration method, apparatus and system provided by the present invention convert an MAC layer ACK packet and a TCP layer ACK packet in a coordinated manner, realize a quick response of an ACK confirmation mechanism, use the MAC layer ACK packet to replace the TCP layer ACK packet on the MAC layer for confirmation, and therefore, the TCP throughput can be rapidly improved, the number of ACK packets is greatly reduced, and at the same time, the long-term low channel scenario caused by the fluctuation and superposition of a TCP layer ACK packet confirmation mechanism and the MAC layer ACK packet confirmation mechanism is avoided.
