Abstract:
A transmission detection method, apparatus and system, relating to the technical field of networks. The method comprises: a first egress device receives a first stream by means of a first ingress interface, acquires detection information of the first stream at the first ingress interface, and according to forwarding information of the first egress device, determines a processing mode for a first detection packet of the first stream as a (broadcast, unknown unicast, multicast, or BUM) processing mode. Because the first egress device acquires detection information of the first stream at the first ingress interface, the first egress device performs detection on the first stream before replicating a BUM packet of the first stream, thereby preventing the replication of the BUM packet from affecting the detection result. The present application can implement detection of a first stream comprising a BUM packet, can be applied in wide scenarios, and has high flexibility.
