Abstract:
In a transmission network with multi-hop connection wherein the transmission bandwidth changes between relay stations, the occurrence of congestion due to the change in the transmission bandwidth between relay stations can be prevented. A transmission device, which is connected to a network configured with a plurality of relay stations, is provided with a transmission unit for transmitting a signal to the network side; and a bandwidth control unit for controlling the transmission bandwidth of the transmission unit on the basis of the lowest transmission bandwidth in the respective transmission bands between relay stations.
