Abstract:
When a plurality of terminal devices are contained in a contention-based radio communication system and share frequency resources, the number of terminal device data signals subjected to nonorthogonal multiplexing in a spatial region increases. If a number of terminal devices, said number exceeding the number of reception antennas and the spreading rate, simultaneously transmits uplink data, terminal devices using the same spreading code are present, and interference can occur between users. This transmission device, which transmits data signals to a reception device, comprises: a transmission processing unit which transmits the data signals without receiving transmission permission control information transmitted by the reception device; a spreading unit which spreads the data signal; and a transmission power control unit which can switch between a plurality of methods for controlling the transmission power of the data signals. The spreading unit switches the control method for the transmission power in accordance with at least one among the spreading rate used for the spreading of the data signals and a spreading code string.
