Abstract:
This technology relates to a transmission device, a communication system, and a transmission method, which make it possible to shorten a recovery time from a state where the transmission of a signal between AC coupled devices is stopped without increasing power consumption.
In the case of a recovery from a state where the transmission of a signal via a first signal line is stopped, a first control signal is transmitted via a second signal line, and the transmission of a charging signal for charging capacitances for AC coupling that are connected in series with the first signal line via the first signal line is started before a timing at which the transmission of the control signal ends. This technology is applicable, for example, to a communication system conforming to an eDP standard.
