Abstract:
In order to increase the transmission band of video data and make it possible to support a new application such as transmission between rooms, the present invention is provided with a second video data transmission unit in addition to a first video data transmission unit. The second video data transmission unit transmits coded video data coded such that the coded video data is DC free and a clock can be regenerated to an external device via a pair of AC-coupled lines of a transmission channel. Therefore, it becomes possible to increase the transmission band of video data while improving signal quality and reducing power consumption. Further, it becomes possible to support a new application such as transmission between rooms since bidirectional transmission is possible.
