Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible to synchronize transmission-side and reception-side processing and perform special processing. According to the present invention, audio data is sequentially transmitted to a reception side via prescribed transmission paths for each piece of unit audio data. A counter value and a parity value that has been associated with the counter value are added to the audio data at each of a prescribed number of pieces of unit audio data. The counter value and the parity value are set to a prescribed state that is based on predetermined rules, and prescribed information is sent to the reception side.
