Abstract:

The disclosed transmission device is provided with: a plurality of input interfaces that receive a signal from another device; a plurality of output interfaces that transmit a signal to another device; a multiplexing unit that multiplexes each signal received by the plurality of input interfaces; a distribution unit that transmits the signals multiplexed by the multiplexing unit to each of the plurality of output interfaces; and a table recording unit that records a switching table that defines the transmission destination of each signal; and from each signal contained in the signals multiplexed by the multiplexing unit, each output interface extracts—in accordance with the contents of the switching table—a signal that that said output interface is to transmit, and transmits the extracted signal to the forwarding destination that is in accordance with the contents of the switching table.
