Abstract:
Disclosed is a transmission device provided with a transmission unit that transmits a common reference signal and a receiving-device-unique reference signal to a receiving device. The transmission device is also provided with a selection unit that selects either a first mode, which reports on reception quality using only the common reference signal, or a second mode, which reports on reception quality using at least the receiving-device-unique reference signal. The transmission device is further provided with a notification unit that notifies the receiving device of the mode selected by the selection unit.
