Abstract:
The present technology pertains to: a transmission device which makes it possible to efficiently transmit an IP/UDP packet; a receiving device; and a data processing method. Transmission packets for transmitting an IP packet containing a UDP packet are transmitted and received. The header of the transmission packet for transmitting specific data among said transmission packets is configured so as to contain identification information associated with a port number and an IP address assigned in advance. A payload is configured so as to contain the payload of the UDP packet. This technology is applicable, for example, to a system for transmitting an IP/UDP packet.
