Abstract:
At an antenna array wherein antenna elements are arranged in a lattice, the present invention multiplexes signals over a plurality of orthogonal channels by means of wireless signals that have a plurality of orbital angular momentum (OAM) propagation modes. According to the present invention, an OAM multiplex transmission transceiver device 10 transmits multiplexed signals wherein N systems of signals that correspond to N OAM propagation modes (N being an integer equal to or greater than 2) have been multiplexed. The OAM multiplex transmission transceiver device (10) has: an antenna array (100) that has M antenna elements (M being an integer equal to or greater than 2) that are arranged in a lattice in the plane seen in planar view; and a transmission unit (12) that multiplies M signals into which each of the N systems of signals have been branched by angle-of-phase-difference weighting coefficients that correspond to the OAM propagation modes and that are based on the angle, as seen from a reference point in the plane, of each of the M antenna elements with respect to a reference axis that passes through the reference point, multiplexes the N systems of signals that have been multiplied by the angle-of-phase-difference weighting coefficients, and transmits the signals from the M antenna elements.
