Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a transmission device, a reception device, a transmission method, and a reception method which can improve the accuracy of an encoder that is constituted of a transmission-side AI/ML model. [Solution] A terminal device comprises an encoder constituted of an AI/ML model, encodes RAW data by means of the encoder, acquires the encoded data, and transmits the encoded data and the RAW data to a base station. The base station comprises a decoder constituted of the AI/ML model, receives the encoded data and the RAW data from the terminal device, decodes the encoded data by means of the decoder, acquires the decoded data, and verifies, on the basis of a comparison between the RAW data and the decoded data, whether the encoded data is correctly encoded.
