Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to improve BER characteristics in a MIMO system. A transmission device 1: generates a carrier symbol by mapping data, which is distributed to each transmission antenna, onto an IQ plane; interleaves, in the time direction, polarized wave-interleaved data obtained by decomposing a plurality of carrier symbols into I-data and Q-data and rearranging either the I-data or the Q-data in accordance with a prescribed rule; and generates an OFDM signal. A reception device 2: MIMO-separates time-deinterleaved data obtained by deinterleaving, in the time direction, a complex baseband signal of an OFDM signal; and, after rearranging either the odd-numbered data or the even-numbered data of a plurality of MIMO-separated data in accordance with a prescribed rule, generates a carrier symbol with adjacent data as the I-data and the Q-data.
