Abstract:
The objective of the invention is to provide a device which enables smooth conversation with improved voice quality regardless of the magnitude of noise and the like in a vehicle cabin. In this transmission system for transmitting a voice signal from a first microphone provided in correspondence with a first position to a speaker provided in correspondence with a second position, a transmission device is proposed which is provided with: an evaluation unit which evaluates at least one of the level of directly transmitted sound transmitted from the first position to the second position without the intervention of the first microphone or the speaker, a noise level, and an operation state of a noise generation source; and a delay setting unit which sets a transmission delay from the first microphone to the speaker on the basis of an evaluation result from the evaluation unit. A transmission method and a program are also proposed.
