Abstract:
Provided is a transmission device that enables the transmission torque capacity of the respective clutches of two systems to be small and can reduce overall length. When a second input shaft (108) and a first transmission gear (111) are coupled by a first switching clutch (131), motive force from a drive shaft (2) is transmitted to a transmission gear train (110). It is possible to transmit torque to an output shaft (3) by simultaneously coupling a first clutch (107) and a second clutch (109), and so the respective transmission torque capacities of the first clutch (107) and second clutch (109) (clutches of two systems) can be made small. Also, the first clutch (107) and second clutch (109) are disposed in parallel, and so it is possible to reduce the length (overall length) in the axial direction of the transmission device (101) compared to the case that the first clutch and second clutch are disposed in series.
