Abstract:

The present application provides a transmission instruction method and a communication apparatus. The method comprises: a terminal device receives a media access control-control element (MAC CE) or downlink control information (DCI); and the terminal device does not receive some or all downlink transmissions in a time window on the basis of instruction information in the MAC CE or DCI. On the basis of the solution provided by the present application, discontinuous reception (DRX) transmissions can be dynamically and flexibly configured for the terminal device, thereby helping to reduce the performance loss of the terminal device.
