Abstract:
Provided are: a transmission mechanism which is configured without increasing the number of parts and without increasing the size of the entire device and which is configured so that switching is capable of being performed by simple operation; and an actuator using the transmission mechanism.
A transmission mechanism transmits drive force, which is transmitted from an input shaft, to an output shaft. The transmission mechanism comprises: a first rotating member to which drive force is applied from the input shaft side; a second rotating member for applying drive force to the output shaft; a through-shaft rotating together with the first rotating member and penetrating through the second rotating member so as to be coaxial with the first rotating member; a first restraining section disposed on the side of the second rotating member, which faces the first rotating member, and rotating together with the second rotating member; and a second restraining section rotating together with the through-shaft and disposed so as to be capable of engaging with and being disengaged from the first restraining section. The through-shaft protrudes from one end of the second rotating member.
