Abstract:
Provided is a transmission mechanism in which a pinion sprocket (30) is equipped with: a sector gear-shaped gear part (310) having gear teeth (311) that mesh with a chain (4); a support part (350) that supports the gear part (310); an idling-permitting mechanism (370) that permits idling of the gear part (310) with respect to the support part (350) within a prescribed range in the circumferential direction of a composite sprocket (3); and a gear-energizing mechanism (380) having a gear-energizing member (390) for energizing the gear part (310) towards a prescribed reference phase with respect to the support part (350).
