Abstract:
A transmission method, apparatus and system of a passive optical network. The method comprises: an optical network unit (ONU) generating an uplink burst FEC encoded signal according to an uplink burst signal, wherein the uplink burst FEC encoded signal carries uplink length information (102); sending the uplink burst FEC encoded signal, which carries the uplink length information, to an OLT, so that the OLT performs FEC decoding on the uplink burst FEC encoded signal according to the uplink length information (102); the OLT receiving the uplink burst FEC encoded signal, which carries the uplink length information (201); extracting the uplink length information from the uplink burst FEC encoded signal (202); and performing FEC decoding on the uplink burst FEC encoded signal according to the uplink length information (203).
