Abstract:
The present application provides a transmission method that can improve the performance of a network device in detecting a terminal device. The method comprises: a network device determining frequency hopping sequences of N terminal devices divided into a plurality of groups in each of L adjacent time slots, any two terminal devices in each group of terminal devices using the same frequency resource, any two groups of terminal devices in each time slot using different frequency resources, each group of terminal devices in each time slot comprising a maximum of K terminal devices, pilot signals used by the groups of terminal devices being elements in a set composed of K mutually different pilot signals, in which pilot signals used by any two terminal devices in each group in each time slot are different; and the network device sending first indication information to a first terminal device of the N terminal devices, the first indication information being used to determine a frequency hopping sequence of the first terminal device and a pilot signal used by the first terminal device in each of the time slots.
