Abstract:
A transmission method that, during broadcasting, stores at least one stream in one channel, stores a plurality of services in one stream, and transmits said services. The transmission method includes: a generation step in which a stream is generated that includes a plurality of IP (Internet Protocol) data flows that correspond, one-to-one, to the plurality of services and have the corresponding service stored therein; and a transmission step in which the generated stream is transmitted. As a result of said configuration, the processing load of a reception device is reduced.
