Abstract:
The present invention relates to a transmission method and a reception device with which it is possible to ensure good communication quality when using LDPC coding to transmit data. In group-wise interleaving in the present invention, an LDPC code having a code length N of 17280 bits is interleaved in units of 0 to 47 bit groups of 360 bits. In group-wise deinterleaving, the group-wise interleaved LDPC code is restored to the original ordering thereof. The present invention can be used for data transmission using LDPC coding, for example.
