Disclosed by the present disclosure is a transmission method and device for a CSI report, comprising: determining a target PUCCH resource based on one or more collision groups that need to be transmitted on the PUCCH resources of a component carrier; the target PUCCH resource is used to place the CSI reports of the one or more collision groups, and the collision groups comprise at least two CSI reports; if the load of a CSI report set prepared to be placed into the target PUCCH resource is smaller than the capacity that the target PUCCH resource allows the target bit rate to be transmitted, placing part of the CSI reports in the CSI report set in the target PUCCH resource based on the priority of the CSI reports; if the load of the CSI set is smaller than or equal to the capacity that the target PUCCH resource allows the target bit rate to be transmitted, placing the CSI reports of the CSI report set in the target PUCCH resource; and transmitting the placed CSI reports on the target PUCCH resource.
