Abstract:
The present invention provides a transmission mode instruction method and device. The method comprises: a base station sends configuration signaling to a terminal; and the base station sends to the terminal downlink control information of a corresponding control information format Y, wherein the downlink control information is determined according to the configuration signaling, and Y is a format identifier, and is a number or a combination of a number and alphabet. The present invention addresses the problem in which a base station using NOMA technology can neither instruct two users to perform superposition transmission, nor instruct a user to perform SIC. By supporting superposition transmission and SIC, the present invention achieves high capacity and fairness in a system of a determined transmission mode, and flexibly supports multiple transmission modes while being compatible with a conventional orthogonal transmission solution.
